FACIAL LIFTING OR RHYTIDECTOMY

As we age, our skin loses elasticity, muscle tone decreases, and bone density reduces. These changes, combined with sun exposure, lifestyle factors, repetitive movements, and the effect of gravity, contribute to the development of wrinkles, creases, and sagging skin.

The surgical procedure:

It involves tightening the muscles and removing excess skin to lift the lower two-thirds of the face. This is done through an incision made in front of the ears, which extends behind the ears towards the scalp, leaving behind well-concealed scars. This procedure effectively diminishes nasolabial folds and marionette lines, restoring a youthful tone and glow to the face.

Additionally, it can be combined with traditional or ultrasound-assisted liposuction to achieve greater firmness. It can also be performed alongside other procedures such as brow lift, eyelid surgery, and neck lift (which is recommended in most cases) to achieve comprehensive facial rejuvenation.
