BREAST LIFT WITH OR WITHOUT PROSTHESIS
The sagging of the breasts can be caused by several factors. These include hormonal changes such as pregnancy, breastfeeding, and menopause, significant weight fluctuations, poor skin quality, and weak supporting tissue of the mammary gland due to genetic factors. Additionally, aging can lead to the involution of breast tissue, where glandular tissue is replaced by fatty tissue. The effect of gravity further contributes to the loss of tone and elasticity of the breasts, causing them to droop.
The surgical procedure:
Elevate the breasts and enhance their firmness to restore a more youthful appearance by repositioning them. This is achieved through incisions that leave scars around the nipple-areola complex (NAC) and at the lower pole of the breast, forming an inverted T shape. The procedure can be done on an outpatient basis.

Care
After the surgery, the patient should wear a post-surgical bra and a button-down blouse. She should avoid raising her arms above her shoulders, lifting heavy objects, performing impact activities, or driving for 2 months in order to prevent any displacement of the implants. It is also recommended to sleep in a semi-sitting position during the first two weeks. In some cases, a band may be used to lower the implants slightly and ensure symmetrical breasts, especially if the lower breast fold was initially very high. It is recommended to undergo surgery after six months of stopping breastfeeding, and ensuring there is no presence of galactorrhea (milk leakage from the nipple). The sutures will be removed after three weeks.
